The project, as reported in the Omaha World-Herald, would entail building a 150,000 square-foot data center with a $100 million price tag in La Vista, a suburb of Omaha. That site will employ at least 40 to 50 people, and a second site in downtown Omaha will become a customer care center.
Yahoo reportedly had been approached by the state in January to house a data center there.
